Happy Monday everyone! I hope you guys are ready to play... GUESS THAT SONG!!!

Woo! I've chosen an easy song that I'm sure all of you will know.

Below is a little story, and the lyrics of the song are in a different color(blue). 

Remember the first one to guess correctly, gets a shoutout!

Here we go:

"Billy Joe where you been?" Sallie-Mae asked. 

"I been in the valley, while you ain't been off that porch," Billie-Joe responded. Sallie-Mae smacked her gums.

"You can't tell me nothin, you wannabe cowboy," Sallie-Mae retorted. Billie-Joe shrugged, "Hey, my hat is matte black and got the boots that's black to match so why not?" Sallie-Mae just rolled her eyes.

"I'm guessing you're going to the old town road." 

Billie-Joe nodded. "Yeah, I'm gonna take my horse to the old town road. I'm gonna ride til I can't no more." 

"You are such a cowboy," Sallie-Mae sighed. Billie-Joe just smiled.

Hey Peeps!

Hey guys, hope you're enjoying your Sunday! I've been thinking about what I could do to replace Music Monday, and with my mom's help, I've come up with a new segment. It's called... Drumroll, please...

Guess that song! (I know very original😂)

The rules are simple. I'll be using the lyrics of a song in a story, and you'll have to figure out the song. The first person to guess the song gets a shout out! 

I'm pretty excited for this segment, and I hope you guys participate because it will be a lot of fun! This segment will start tomorrow!

Why Write?

Why do people write?

Some write for a hobby. Some write to get thoughts down on paper. Some even write to make themselves better. 

Reason to write is different for everyone, but the one thing that every writer has in common is the love for writing.

Writing is freeing.  

I use to write just to get my feelings on paper. It was easier to tell a piece of paper how your feeling without it judging you😂

I recommend writing and keeping accounts of your life. I still have writings from when I was nine and it's always great reading them.

Why do you write?

I Don't Need This😠

Whether you're in school now, just graduated, or haven't been in school for the last few years, at some point through your schooling career you came across the same exasperated thought.

When will I ever use this?

I love school as you could tell by how much I talk about it, but sometimes it could be really annoying to know that you're being graded on something that has nothing to do with the career you want to do.

Elementary school is pretty much needed because everything you learn there is helpful for the most part. Anything after...not so much.

Back in the day, going to school and college guarantees you in having a successful future.

In this day in time, as long as you know how to read, write, do some basic math, I say you can still have a pretty good future.
