Learner's Permit

Today is officially the last day of 2019! Who else is excited for 2020? 

Earlier today I went to get my learner's permit, buuuuuuut...I didn't pass the test to get it. 

I got a 90 on the signs part of the test, but on the second part I got a 70, and I needed a 75 to pass. I had missed one too many😞

I'll admit I was a little bit upset because I wanted to get it on the first try. After a phone call with my mom, she made me feel better about the whole thing😁

That's what I love my mom for, she always knows what to say to make me feel better😁

I'll be going back to retake my test on Friday and I'm sure this time I will pass😁

Growing Up

I remember when I was a little kid I didn't want to grow up. I wanted to stay a kid forever. 

Of course, deep down we all want to be kids again and go back to when the world wasn't so bad. When all we had to worry about was what's going to be on tv. 

Being a kid was great, but we all have to grow up sooner or later.  If you think about it, growing up doesn't mean you have to stop being a child.  There's a time to be a child and a time to be an adult. 

At the end of the day, don't rush the stages of growing up. Cherish each day or else you might miss something😉

Last Sunday

Did anyone else realize today is the last Sunday of 2019? It's pretty cool if you think about it. How are you spending the last Sunday of 2019?

Me? I'm just relaxing and getting ready for 2020!

Busy Busy Busy

Hey Guys! It's been awhile😁

I'm on winter break right now which is great because I needed a break from school. I been so busy with my classes and studying for finals that I didn't have time to post.

All that hard work paid off though, I passed all my classes and made a 100 on my psychology final!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is ready for the new year. I can't believe 2019 is almost over and a new decade is going to begin.

It's really hard to believe, it feels like we were in 2019 for a really long time. Don't you think?

That's all for now. I just wanted to give you guys a little update. I'll post again tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday. 

Also Guess That Song will be on pause for a little while.

Joseph went into his dressing room, exhausted from having to perform for six hours straight. He was drinking water when the door opened. "That was some performance," his sister said sarcastically. 

He asked, "What do you want?"

  "You haven't been yourself since you became famous. I just think it's time for you to come home and quit."

"Ayy, Panini, don't you be a meanie. Thought you wanted me to go up?" Joseph snapped at her.

"I do, but-"

"I thought you wanted this for my life. For my life," Joseph said getting mad. Panini was the one who wanted him to be a singer. She was the one who pushed him to perform. Now she wants him to quit this life that he was used to?

"Said you wanted to see me thrive, you lied."

"I didn't-"

"Say to me what you want from me! Just say to me what you want from me!" Joseph yelled cutting her off again.

"To come home!" Panini yelled," I want you to come home and be my big brother again." Panini ran from the room leaving Jospeh feeling like a lousy brother.

Update

Hey guys, for the past two weeks I've been busy with school, and  I haven't had time to post. 

Theres alot of pressure, since next year I can 

start applying for colleges, so I have to make sure I get decent grades. I wanted to post today just to give you guys an update and why I haven't been posting.

Tomorrow will be Guess That Song, and Writings Wednesday will also be this week.

Sleep

I love to sleep just like everyone else. Sleep is a great thing to do to past the time. Plus, its cool how our brains create our dreams that seems so real.

Personally, that's why I like to sleep. I like dreaming, and feeling in control. It's like going to a whole new world when I dream.

Most people like to sleep because it's relaxing, or because they're just really tired😂
Sleep might even be comforting to some people. If a person is going through a lot of things in their life, sleep is a way to get away from it all for them.

Nonetheless, everyone likes to sleep for their own reasons👍

The Writer's Mind

For today's Writing Wednesday, I'll be giving my thoughts about the quote below:

I like this quote mostly because it had to deal with writing😆

Also, I want to point out if a person writes beautifully doesn't mean that their mind is a terrible place. However, it's possible that some of the best writing can come from a dark place, and in that instance then a person's mind could be a terrible place.

But, once again not always the case. It's understandable though because there are some books where it kinda makes you wonder how they came up with a story like that.

Guess That Song Official Rules

Hey guys, I was with my dad during the weekend and was not able to post the rules for Guess That Song.
I'm back at home and  here are the official rules:

Every Monday there will be a short story created by lyrics from a song. The lyrics in the story will be blue.  

Guess the song correctly and you get a shoutout. You'll have until midnight to comment your answer and receive a shout out.

You can comment on here or on my Instagram @hercoolutopia.

So anyone, who guess the song correctly and post it before midnight gets a shout out. There is no limit to the amount of people who can get a shout out. However, you only get one guess, and one guess only😉.

One time Eric was at home upset because of his life. Then his friend Jake came to his room. "What is wrong Eric?" Jake asked.

"It's because of my life and everything." Then Jake said, "Hey now you're an all-star get your game on and go play boi." So Eric did.

Happy Sunday Peeps!

In my business class, we had to create a business and create a product or service to sell to customers. I created a business with three of my friends called Niche Crafts (we're still debating over the name).

We plan on selling popsockets, bracelets, magnets, custom mugs, and stickers! For right now, we're getting supplies and coming up with prices. 

I thought this is cool because it's a good segway into selling products from my blog😁

That's right folks, Her Cool Utopia merch is coming soon!

I don't want to give a specific date because there's still a bunch of things I have to do before I can officially sell products, but I hope to do it soon.

So make sure to keep a look out for updates on products👍

How to Become a Better Writer

Ever wonder how you could become a better writer?

It's easy!

Just keep writing😂

I know it's something that you're already doing, but it's true. Practice makes perfect! The more you write the better you become. Write when your mad, sad, or happy😁 

No matter what you do just write!

 Reading books will also help with your writing. Studying other writers writing styles and formats will help with creating your own style of writing.

 This doesn't just apply for creative writing, this can apply to any writing a person is doing. Essays, narratives, you name it.

Keep doing what you're doing and write😉

No matter what you do just write and don't forget to read a few books as well😜
