Why Write?

Why do people write?

Bitmoji Image

Some write for a hobby. Some write to get thoughts down on paper. Some even write to make themselves better.

Reason to write is different for everyone, but the one thing that every writer has in common is the love for writing.

Writing is freeing.
I use to write just to get my feelings on paper. It was easier to tell a piece of paper how your feeling without it judging you😂

I recommend writing and keeping accounts of your life. I still have writings from when I was nine and it's always great reading them.

Why do you write?

I Don't Need This😠

Whether you're in school now, just graduated, or haven't been in school for the last few years, at some point through your schooling career you came across the same exasperated thought.

When will I ever use this?

I love school as you could tell by how much I talk about it, but sometimes it could be really annoying to know that you're being graded on something that has nothing to do with the career you want to do.

Elementary school is pretty much needed because everything you learn there is helpful for the most part. Anything after...not so much.

Back in the day, going to school and college guarantees you in having a successful future.

In this day in time, as long as you know how to read, write, do some basic math, I say you can still have a pretty good future.

Have a great week!

Writing Wednesday- Storytime 3

Hump day
Happy Hump Day!
It's almost Friday, and honestly, I'm ready for the weekend.

It's Writing Wednesday, and today will be a short story! Next few Wednesdays will be writing tips.

I created this story purely for fiction. I created this with my own mind and imagination.

Without further ado, here is the story...

"Mayaaaa!" My heart sank when I heard that voice. I quickly went under my bed as I heard his footsteps approaching. He entered my room. "Maya come out and playyy," he said dragging out the y. I covered my mouth to keep from any sound from leaving.

I prayed for him to leave, but he didn't. His feet appeared in front of me. He kneeled down and smiled as he realized he found me. I screamed as he reached out for me.

He grabbed my hair and forcibly pulled me from under my bed. "Were you hiding from me?" He asked softly. He pulled my head back so I was looking him in his eyes.

Malice danced in his blood-red eyes. "All I wanted to do was to give you a hug," He murmured as he pulled me in a hug. I stood completely still with fear.

"Why did he keep you alive? Out of everyone, why you?" He whispered in my ear.

"Please, just leave me alone," I said coming close to tears.  He let go of my waist.

"Don't cry," he murmured as lifted my chin. He brought his lips close to mine.

I slapped him and bolted out of my room. He caught me before I could make it to the stairs.

He lifted me, but I thrashed as an attempt to get out of his grip. "Let go of me!" I screamed.

"Alright." He let go and pushed me down the stairs. I landed at the bottom of the staircase.

I tried to pick my bruised body from the floor, but every one of my muscles was screaming in protest. "Why are you so difficult?" He asked as he walked down the stairs.

He raised his hand revealing flames black as night. "No, please," I pleaded, backing away from him. He took ahold of my ankle and pulled me toward him. "You hit me, it's only fair that I get you back."

I screamed in pain as black flames consume my ankle and foot. Tears stream from my eyes. "Matthew!"

"He's not coming!" He said. He let go of my ankle. He took ahold of the front of my shirt and pulled me in close to him. "Just say you love me." I shook my head.

A sadistic smiled appeared on his face. "Then die." He tightens his hands around my neck. I tried to kick him off, but he didn't budge. I gasped for breath as my vision began to blur.

"Matt...hew," I gasped. Suddenly the grip around my neck loosens until they were gone completely. I coughed as I tried to breathe normally.

"I'm sorry."

I let out a sigh of relief. It was Matthew. I looked at his eyes to be sure it was him. I smiled as I saw his eyes had returned to their light brown color. "It's fine," I assured him.

"He's getting stronger. I can barely control him," Matthew muttered.

"I'm okay," I said. Matthew looked at me with concern in his eyes. He then looked at my ankle and shook his head.

"I'm sorry," he said again.

Special Announcement:
Music Monday is no more.
After some thinking, I decided to stop doing Music Monday. It was something that I was thinking about stopping for a while now. I didn't own any of the songs, and I just like having everything that's on my blog be something I made for the most part.

As of now, I'm posting every Sunday and every Wednesday or every other Wednesday for Writing Wednesday.

That's all for now!
I'll see you on Wednesday for Writing Wednesday!

Bitmoji ImageWill it be a short story? Or a writing tip?
