The Year is Almost Over

Bitmoji Image
I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and got everything they wanted. Tomorrow will be the last day of 2018!!! I can't believe it!

I wonder what 2019 is going to be like? What new trends awaits us? Hopefully, 2019 can be the year where people change and realize things not only about themselves but also about the world around them.

I'm feeling so much better! I know I said I would post yesterday, but I still wasn't feeling well enough to post. School's out for winter break. I ended the semester with all A's and B's
!

I'm very proud of myself and so is my family. I'm going to try to make it on the honor roll. I know I can do it!

Christmas is tomorrow and I bet everyone is excited. This is the day we've been waiting for a while now.

Christmas isn't about the gifts, but being with the people we love. I hope everyone spends Christmas with family and people they love and care about.

Update on Malcolm X's book *Spoiler Alert*

Bitmoji Image
Bitmoji ImageGood evening everyone! Christmas is only 10 days away😃 The first semester of the school year is almost over. Finals are right around the corner so it's studying time!

I promised you guys an update on the autobiography of Malcolm X. I talked about the book a little bit last week. Check the post out if you haven't already. Again don't want to spoil the book for those who decided to read it, so I'll try not to say anything too major.

Bitmoji Image
Born on May 19, 1925, Malcolm was the seventh child born to Louise and Earl Little. He was born in a time where segregation was still around and the KKK was at large. Unlike his brothers and sisters, Malcolm's skin was a lighter shade then there's.
His father treated him better than his siblings, but it didn't stop his mother from disciplining him just because he had lighter skin. His mother didn't want him growing up thinking he's better than his siblings just because of his skin color.
Couple years later his father was killed( find how out in the book)forcing his mother to take care of eight kids by herself. Fast forward to another few years, Malcolm moved to Boston to live with his half-sister Ella.

what happened

What happens to him in Boston? I don't know 😅 I haven't gotten that far in the story. Again, guys, I recommend reading the book. You won't find something like this on tv.

I will never understand how people don't like to read? Books hold the knowledge whether it's fiction or non-fiction. There's always some type of truth in stories.

Like That Book: The Autobiography of Malcolm X

It's been a while since my last segment
Like that Book with the book Warriors: Into the Wild
( Link below if you want to check it out)

Today's book is The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley

I checked out the book from my school's library last week. I check it out because I wanted to learn more about Malcolm.

I know he fought for civil rights for blacks like Martin Luther King Jr. Unlike Martin, Malcolm didn't believe in peaceful protesting. He believed black people had the right to defend themselves in any means necessary.

I don't want spoil the book for anyone, but I highly, highly, highly, recommend you  to read the book. I know I haven't gotten that far, but so far his story is very interesting.

Enjoy your sunday!

I'll give an update on the book when I've read a little bit more. Possibly on Friday or Saturday

Fun Fact Friday-Christmas Facts

Happy Friday!! Hope everyone enjoyed their day. I did Christmas music, so it's time for some Christmas facts!

Photo:Didyouknowblog.com

To be honest I don't know how this was possible. If their willing to call a truce on Christmas then why continue fighting each other after Christmas? During that day they must have met on some type of common ground right?
Why do we write Christmas as Xmas - WTF fun facts

This may not be an interesting fact, but it's a mood I bet most people are having.
It was easy to know what you want for Christmas. What all kids really want are toys, but by the time you become a teenager, you don't know what you want. Every year on my birthday and Christmas, my family would ask me what I want.
I would say I don't know because I really didn't know what I wanted. This year, however,  is different because all I want are books (I'm living the nerd life😄😎)

2nd day of December

The first day of December was yesterday and now we're on the second day.
In only 29 days, 2018 will be over!
Honestly, I feel like a lot of stuff is going to happen in 2020( I know next year is 2019. Just thinking ahead). Not sure why, but it just sounds like there would be a lot of interesting things happening. I hope by then I'll do a lot more with my blog. I have some ideas on how to promote my blog further, but I'm still thinking them through.
That's all for now. I'll see you guys tomorrow!!

This poster is very similar to my story. Your brain has a network in it. And my network was basically negative, which explains my panic attacks. I set out to change that network from negative to positive. Results came early and they kept building and now they have taken over my brain. I now have a positive network in my brain. Like this poster the new pattern in my brain is positive and life has never looked better. cheers Paul Ianni

I'm also grateful for you guys who read my posts.  I really appreciate it!

How about you guys? What are you thankful for?

Have a great time with friends and family❤ Make sure you eat a lot of turkey (if you like it👌)

Music Monday- 8D Tunes

Happy Monday everyone! Only three days until Thanksgiving!

8D Tunes is a cool channel on YouTube.
They take songs and change the bass(I think. Not a music expert) to make it seem like the song is echoing through the room.

It's awesome and very different. They created a new way of listening to music. To get the full experience you have to listen to the songs with headphones.

Check out their channel above.

Instead of looking at certain things as problems, let's look at them as learning experiences. Each problem leads to a new experience you learn from.
